ZeroGeo Energy launches German subsidiary – ZeroGeo Geothermie GmbH

We are delighted to announce the opening of our German subsidiary, ZeroGeo Geothermie Gmbh, which will be led by our newly appointed Country Manager, Marco Seffer. 

Marco has 20+ years’ experience in the energy industry and held several senior positions within Weatherford, in Germany. During his time there, he was instrumental in helping build value through his successful interaction with stakeholders at all levels of the business. Marco is a fantastic addition to our team.

ZeroGeo are also pleased to announce the opening of our German office, in Hannover, which will be responsible for leading and implementing Projekt THERMO, the first operations being a 5,000km² Air-FTG® geophysical survey to support the building of our integrated reservoir model to better understand the geothermal potential of our future geothermal permits . 

ZeroGeo Geothermie GmbH has also been admitted to BVEG, the Federal Association of Natural Petroleum and Geoenergy, in Hannover. This hugely important association represents operators at all levels for the supply of deep geothermal energy in Germany.

There is a great deal of work going on behind the scenes to ensure ZeroGeo becomes one of the first companies to generate baseload power at industrial scale from deep geothermal energy. We end 2022 on a high and are delighted to have appointed Marco to open our German subsidiary in Hannover.’
